Each morning, our breakfast buffet offers a varied selection to start your day. We serve both hot and cold dishes, fresh bread, toppings, and something sweet, perfect before a day outdoors or for a slow, relaxed morning.
Lunch
12.00 - 15.00
*For groups and conference guests eating in our dining room, lunch hours are 12.00 - 14.00.
At lunchtime, we offer a selection of warming stews, soups, fresh salads, sandwiches, and something sweet. Lunch is ordered directly at the bar and is perfect for a light break during the day.
Going on a full day excursion? You can pre-order a packed lunch the evening before at reception and have it ready for you in the morning.
Dinner
18.00 - 21.00
*Last seating is 20.30. If you arrive with the last train, please contact reception to ensure a late seating reservation.
In the evenings, we serve a set three-course menu or an a-la-carte menu built around fresh ingredients, with the option to pair the meal with carefully selected wines or alcohol-free alternatives.
Portions are considered and prepared with care to keep the food fresh and minimise waste. Most of what we serve is made in-house or sourced nearby.
Upon check in at our reception, you will receive your dinner time seating.
Our ingredients arrive the same way our guests do, by train.
Twice a month, the platform fills with crates of fresh produce, meat and seafood, dry goods, and carefully selected wines. For a few energetic minutes, the platform becomes a fast-moving chain of hands, passing crates swiftly from train to kitchen before the doors close again.
Cooking here demands a little more foresight. It takes planning, coordination, and a willingness to work with the rhythm of weather and railway schedules. That extra effort shapes the way we cook: seasonal, considered, and focused on quality, making the most of what arrives and using it with care.
