Rallarvegen Update from Finse

Planning a ride on Rallarvegen? Here's the latest

• ✅ Haugastøl–Finse is open and rideable

  • The road has been plowed and conditions are generally good.

  • Expect a few wet or slippery spots, and the occasional patch of snow or ice in shaded areas.

• ⏳ Finse–Hallingskeid is not yet passable (but simply hop on the train for this section!)

  • There’s still plenty of snow on this section, so we recommend taking the train. Otherwise, expect a bit of a “hike-and-bike” experience for the most determined riders.

  • We hope the full route will open up in early July.

• ✅ Hallingskeid–Vatnahalsen–Flåm is open

  • Conditions are clear all the way down to Flåm.
