Finseregatta

Every winter, a group of enthusiastic kite and ski sailors gathers at Finse for what is perhaps Norway's most charming regatta.
Organised by Skikite and Finse Skilag, Finseregatta brings together beginners and experienced ski sailors and kiters for a fun and informal weekend in the mountains. Colourful sails, winter wind and plenty of action on the ice, with a little prestige up for grabs along the way!
Finseregatta is part of The Winter Race Cup Norway 2027.
DNT Finsehytta is the official base for the weekend, with talks and the prize ceremony taking place there, while the competition itself is held on Finsevann.
Coming to Finse for the regatta? We at the hotel offer accommodation throughout the weekend, just a short walk from Finsehytta and Finsevann.
