The Two of Us. Over the Ice with Live Skattum & Marta Flotve

In May 2026, Live Skattum and Marta Flotve stepped onto the Greenland ice sheet, just the two of them. Only a few months earlier, they had been sitting in the audience at Expedition Finse, listening to the stories of other explorers while completing their degrees in Outdoor Leadership and Nature Guiding. Then it was their turn. Moving across the ice in Nansen’s footsteps, they put years of education and practical experience to the test. Their journey became one of preparation, friendship, self-belief and the courage to pursue a big idea.

Mini & Muttern

During the winter of 2025/26, Emma “Mini” & Kathinka “Muttern” Gyllenhammar, made polar history as the world’s first mother-and-daughter team to reach the South Pole via a unique route before kiting back the way they came. Their story begins long before Antarctica, with a shared life outdoors. Kathinka became Norway’s first female internationally certified polar guide, while Emma grew up surrounded by the same landscapes and spirit of adventure. This is a story about much more than reaching the South Pole. It is about curiosity, family, risk and what happens when two generations take on a challenge that demands everything they have.
